Health & Safety Projects Manager
Roles and responsibilities
My key responsibility is to build and manage the company’s health and safety program in line with UK legislation and guidance. I provide clients and associated contractors with health and safety documentation relevant to their projects. I manage the required PPE for all employees and keep an inventory of Sightline’s assets and inspections for required equipment. I also manage and maintain incident records, produce risk management assessments including method statements, manual handling assessments, COSHH assessments and chemical inventory. I manage employee safety training requirements.
My role also involves site surveys, assisting the installation team and design project management. I am also responsible for Sightlines business management program in line with the company’s requirements.

Level 3 NVQ in computer software
Level 3 NEBOSH certificate in occupational health and safety
Level 3 NEBOSH fire safety certificate
Level 4 IEMA Affiliate certificate in environmental management
Level 3 NVQ in Electronic engineering
University diploma in natural science
Describe a typical day
My day is always different and varied from answering calls and emails from customers, creation of project-based RAMS, maintaining business management system and PAT testing to site surveys, assisting install team or creating streamlined software programs.
What do you like most about your job?
I like the fact that each day is different, seeing new places and travelling the country. I also enjoy working with the team in the office and on-site.
